Ceilidh for Critters, an independent annual fundraiser to benefit homeless dogs and cats in the Halifax Regional Municipality raised almost $4000 for the Bide Awhile Shelter this year!

However, the event is about more than just the money - it is a great opportunity for education and good will. Continuing the tradition established in the past years, participants had the opportunity to make new friends and forge new business relationships. Also, to provide advertising and exposure to community minded sponsors, and even get a little Christmas shopping done at the same time. The auction was a big success.

It is my pleasure to be involved with such a great event...the volunteers and the performers are a delight to work with, and the generosity of the community is overwhelming.

I sincerely hope you enjoyed your experience and will join us again next year. Please go forward into your Christmas season knowing you have already given a gift.
