Our Campaign Team

Our Building Campaign Co-Chairs are Darrold Gould and Chris Hornberger.

Darrold Gould, Executive Director

Darrold has over 20 years experience in working with animals. While his main responsibilities at Bide Awhile include the day-to-day management of  shelter operations, he's keenly involved in all aspects of Shelter life and volunteer efforts. Darrold is our most passionate ambassador and advocate for animal welfare. 

As co-chair of our Campaign, Darrold is working closely with the design team to ensure we have the best environment possible for the animals under our care.

Chris Hornberger, President of Board of Directors

Chris is a well respected and experienced Management Consultant and Project Manager. She's been actively involved with Bide Awhile's Board for the past 9 years and has been the driving force behind our strategic planning initiatives. She's also led Bide Awhile's increasingly successful fundraising committee efforts.

 As co-chair, she brings her organizational and leadership skills to the Campaign to ensure our success in Building a Better Bide Awhile.
