Designing a Shelter from scratch gives us a wonderful opportunity to include the features that will make this building work well for the people and animals using it. Our design team is working now to turn 5200 sq.ft. of planned space into the most efficient Shelter they can dream of.
Things like: in-floor radiant heating, better air circulation, mobile stainless steel kennels, larger, sunnier adoption rooms and dog kennels, better office and meeting spaces.

Our design is based on a single story building with our cat wing, isolation areas, offices and meeting rooms on one level and our dog wing and walk out. Also, kennel access on the lower basement level.
If you’ve ever visited Eaton Avenue for our Christmas Open House you’ll be sure to appreciate the parking lot that’s included in our plans. (So will the truck drivers delivering our pallets of cat litter!)
